Bring a piece of New England folk art into your home with this hand-crafted Pewter-style chalkware standing lamb. This wonderful set of pieces was inspired by Early American and English Pewter and the German tradition of handcrafting folk art using antique German chocolate molds / ice cream molds.
Of special note: The figures were cast in chalkware using a RARE pair of matching antique German tin chocolate molds (mfg. Antone Reich; Dresden, Germany). Each lamb has a collar around the neck with a bell. The finished pieces, measuring approx 4 -1/4 inches wide, were handpainted with my Signature aged Pewter finish, antiqued, and glazed to complement aged Pewter with a dark patina. Each piece is marked #1 and hand signed. The Pewter-style lamb figures will display beautifully in front of your collection of Pewter plates, bowls, ice cream molds or pewter platters; and, will display equally well with sterling silver, mercury glass, yelloware, redware and other primitives.
