The Artistry of Bittersweet House Folk Art

This 4 1/4 inch chalkware folk art lamb is cast from a rare antique chocolate mold by the legendary Anton Reiche of Dresden, Germany. Because it was cast from a Reiche mold, the detail in the "fur" is incredibly fine and realistic, a hallmark of the Dresden master mold-makers.
Product Details:
Each lamb is meticulously hand-painted, featuring delicate spring flowers at its feet and a hand-mixed aged mossy green base—specifically designed to complement the warm woods and muted tones of a primitive or farmhouse home. In the tradition of antique German Putz sheep, the lamb has a signature red neck band and a tiny brass-style bell. Finished with a custom antiqued patina, this piece offers the nostalgic warmth of a well-loved heirloom. Signed, numbered, and dated by artist Kathryn Campbell.
