Hand Painted Chalkware German Lamb

The Artistry

This charming German Lamb (L214) is hand-cast in chalkware using a highly detailed Obermann German antique chocolate mold. It measures 3 1/4" tall, making it the perfect scale for display in a stepback cupboard, nestled among pantry boxes or primitive kitchen collectibles.

Each lamb is hand-painted and carefully antiqued to achieve the soft, aged patina of a 19th-century treasure. As with all Bittersweet House folk art, this piece is signed, numbered, and dated on the bottom.
