Catalog #R319 measures approximately 6 inches tall and depicts a whimsical rabbit seated inside a large egg, carrying a basket of eggs on his back. The figure is cast from a rare German antique chocolate mold and finished with a softly antiqued patina for an aged, collected look.
One side is hand-painted with a trailing vine of spring flowers and a cheerful robin. The reverse reveals the embossed sentiment “Easter Greeting”—a permanent detail from the original antique mold.
R319 is an easy seasonal focal point because it offers a different view from every angle—floral painting on one side and the molded greeting on the other. It looks especially at home with early wood, pantry boxes, baskets, and stoneware in a spring or Easter display.
