This hand-crafted R326 “Masterwork in Miniature” depicts a Mother Rabbit with her bunny son. It is cast in chalkware from an exceptionally rare, tiny antique chocolate mold created by the legendary Anton Reiche of Dresden, Germany.
Despite its small scale, the detail in the casting is superb. The Mother Rabbit wears a Bavarian style dress that is hand-painted in my signature Fleur-de-lis design. This intricate pattern, combined with the rarity of the Reiche mold, makes this piece a highly collectible signature treasure for the Easter season.
Product Details: Bittersweet House Folk Art captures the character and warmth of the German folk art tradition of chalkware. Each piece is individually hand-cast from an antique chocolate mold and meticulously hand-painted.
The exacting craftsmanship and attention to detail ensure a treasure that reflects our historic past and will last for generations to come. Every figure is hand-signed, numbered, and dated on the bottom: Bittersweet House Folk Art, Kathryn Campbell.
