The Spring Chalkware Cornucopia Rabbit
Catalog #R330 — An Exceptional German Antique Design
Standing approximately 7 1/2 inches tall, this striking rabbit holds a large cornucopia, traditionally a symbol of abundance and "plenty." While the cornucopia often signals the autumn harvest, I have reimagined this piece for the season of rebirth by painting it with a bountiful arrangement of hand-painted spring flowers.
Cast from a rare antique German chocolate mold, the figure captures the whimsical character that makes these historic designs so beloved. Each bloom is meticulously painted with fine brushwork, creating a colorful and festive centerpiece for your spring decor.
