The Artistry

Garden-inspired.Catalog #R345 is a grand, collectible rabbit measuring approximately 9 1/2 inches tall. Hand-cast in chalkware from a rare German antique chocolate mold, the figure is finished in a warm antique white and softly antiqued to bring out the depth of the relief.

The pedestal base is painted in a soft spring green and detailed with hand-painted meadow flowers—including pansies, clover blossoms, lavender, and daisies. An antiqued green basket rests on the rabbit’s back, adding a charming folk-art silhouette and an extra layer of detail.

This design is pictured with a pompom neck ribbon accent and flowers in the basket; the ribbon and flowers can be omitted if you prefer a simpler, more primitive look.

Styling Ideas

With its larger scale, R345 is designed to be a focal point—on a mantel, a hutch shelf, or the center of a spring display. It pairs beautifully with early wood, pantry boxes, stoneware, and vintage Easter ephemera, where the antique-white finish and green base feel collected and timeless.
