Into the forest. The S493 captures the spirit of a winter trek—Santa leaning into his stride with a walking staff in hand—cast from a rare antique German chocolate mold prized for its dynamic "hiking" pose. The coat is finished in a rich, deep umber brown, providing a warm and earthy foundation for the intricate botanical painting.
The ornamentation mimics the lush density of a period tapestry. Stylized oak leaves—symbols of strength and endurance—intertwine with delicate foliage and hidden floral blooms across the garment. The deep red base is finished with an alternating laurel leaf border, a traditional folk motif that provides a measured, quiet rhythm to the piece.
The surface is lightly antiqued for a time-worn look and completed with a dusting of Diamond Frost glass glitter on the beard and base. This creates a soft, antique sparkle that catches the light like fresh-fallen snow on a woodland trek.
