Embroidered heritage. Inspired by early American crewel-work embroidery, the S652 chalkware Belsnickle is painted with a wreath-centered folk narrative that feels collected, symbolic, and rooted in tradition. Standing 9.5 inches tall, this piece is cast from an antique chocolate mold and rendered in a warm, parchment-toned palette.
On the front, a circular wreath frames two golden songbirds nestled among ivy leaves and winterberries. The narrative continues to the reverse, where a second wreath is centered by a pineapple—long recognized as a historic symbol of welcome and hospitality.
Ivy, evergreen sprigs, and persimmon accents add rhythm and depth to the composition, while the hood and trim are finished with a softly textured fur effect. A gentle, vintage-style patina completes the surface, giving the piece the presence of a quietly aged heirloom.
