The Artistry
The S715 Botanical Vine Chalkware Belsnickle is cast from an antique German chocolate mold and finished in a soft leaf-green coat decorated with flowing white botanical scrollwork.
Tulip blossoms, pomegranate buds, and curling vines move across the surface of the figure, creating a lively garden pattern that continues around the back. A braided vine border encircles the hem of the coat, adding rhythm and balance to the composition.
Turquoise-green mittens, warm ivory trim, and hand-painted gold buttons complete the palette, giving the piece a fresh, decorative presence while preserving the traditional Belsnickle form.
Product Details: Each piece is individually hand-cast from an antique chocolate mold and meticulously hand-painted. Every figure is signed, numbered, and dated on the base: Bittersweet House Folk Art, Kathryn Campbell.
