Enchanted forest. The S723 is an 8-inch chalkware Belsnickle cast from an antique chocolate mold and finished in a hand-mixed Golden Verdigris—a richly aged green with soft, timeworn depth. The surface is painted with a continuous winter toile inspired by early European textile traditions.

Woodland figures unfold across the coat in a monochromatic landscape: a leaping deer, evergreen trees, and a fox subtly tucked along the reverse. The restrained palette gives the imagery a graphic, tapestry-like quality rather than a modern decorative feel.

Imperial red trim at the hat and base provides contrast and warmth, while Santa carries a satchel of apples finished in gold luster—an accent that catches the light and reinforces the piece’s narrative richness.
