The Artistry

The S799 is one of the most complex and evocative figures in the Bittersweet House collection. Standing 9 inches tall, this Santa serves as a panoramic canvas for a wraparound winter narrative. The background is a masterful atmospheric gradient, transitioning from a rich, cerulean blue at the shoulders to a luminous aqua-tinted twilight at the snowy horizon. This "magic hour" palette makes the hand-painted village windows appear to truly glow against the cooling sky.

A Bespoke Design

This piece features an intricate village scene that flows seamlessly around the figure. Originally created as a custom commission, the back of the Santa (shown here with a white feather tree) can be fully personalized. Whether you prefer a continuation of the village landscape with the feather tree or to fill in the sky with the continuation of snowflakes, each S799 is painted to order, ensuring your Santa is a one-of-a-kind heritage piece.

The Fine Details:
The transition from the Cerulean sky to the lighter glowing aqua blue horizon can be customized and accented with Diamond Frost glass glitter. This creates a crystalline "iced" effect on the roofs and the base, mimicking the way light catches the snow during a crisp winter sunset.

Of Special Note:
Due to the intensive time required for this level of blended brushwork and detail, the S799 is crafted in very limited numbers. Each piece is cast from an antique German mold, hand-painted, signed, numbered, and dated by Kathryn Campbell.
